Neil Marshall, Development Director at ChangeSchool, was invited by the British Council Kenya to participate in Kenya Innovation Week 2023: Commonwealth Edition, held from November 27th to December 1st, 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Organised by the Kenya National Innovation Agency, Kenya Innovation Week (KIW) is a premier innovation forum in Kenya, bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and experts from around the world. Neil Marshall had the privilege to contribute to this event and speak at a session tailored for Vice-Chancellors of Kenyan Universities. During his participation, Neil engaged with leading university Vice-Chancellors, discussing strategies to foster entrepreneurship within their institutions.
ChangeSchool extends special appreciation to Dr. Tonny K. Omwansa, PhD, of KeNIA for organizing the event, and the British Council for their facilitation. The event also provided an opportunity to connect with Prof Stephen Kiama, Chair of KNEIL and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi, further emphasising the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in Kenya.
