ChangeSchool is delivering in the GCC

Working with the UK Cabinet office (through British Council) we provided an open leadership programme ‘Leaders Influencing Toolkit’ in 6 GCC countries in 2016.

Delivered exclusively by ChangeSchool, we trained government officials, corporate executives and senior academics from the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

In Oman, our open leadership programmes have been attended by executives from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), Ministries of Education, Manpower, Housing, Interior, Health, Tourism and Defence, Oman Oil Company, the Armed Forces Hospital, OmanTel, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Oman Air.

We also provided Module 2 of the Certified Entrepreneur’s Education programme for the Ministry of Higher Education and SME Development Fund of Oman.

For our international clients we have successfully created the TruePotential™ leadership development model that provides guidance, mentoring and education to leadership teams remotely from London. This complements our on-site classroom executive education delivery.

We have faculty and management development programmes for universities that want to create a) business mind-sets for engaging with industry to generate revenue;b) better student performance through inspiration, engagement, and delivery; and c) academic development to support research.

In the UK we have worked with University College London; Kings College London; and London South Bank University.

In the GCC, faculty from the following institutions have attended our programmes:

In UAE: UAE University; Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSOG), Govt of Dubai; Sheikh Khalifa Medical City.

In Kuwait: College of Basic Education, Public Authority for Applied Education and Training; College of Technological Studies.

In Bahrain: Applied Sciences University.

In the Sultanate of Oman: Sultan Qaboos University; Armed Forces Medical College; Directorate General of Technological Education (Higher College of Technology), Ministry of Manpower of Nizwa; Caledonia College of Engineering; Modern College of Business & Science; College of Banking & Financial Studies; Gutech; Majan College; Salalah College of Technology; College of Applied Sciences at Ibri, Salalah, Sohar, Sur & Nizwa; Middle East College; Gulf College; Oman Tourism College; and Sohar University.

We have directly trained and mentored 111 start-up teams to date. In 2015, we launched 43 start-ups through universities and government ecosystems including London South Bank University, University College London, London Business School, Woxsen School of Business in India and the UK Government’s Sirius Programme. In Qatar we are advising Tajmeel, a growing hair and beauty accreditation and training business, on its growth strategy and international expansion.

Thanks Viren. Really appreciate the opportunity. I think it’s one of the most interesting presentations I have attended since I joined work.  I would be keep for you to deliver the same for a group of fast trackers? I’m sure the community will be delighted to attend and would greatly benefit from the content.

Mujtaba Khan: Fast Track leadership programme, BT

It was fantastic meeting you the other day at Cambridge on the seminar. I also appreciated your unorthodox view of an organization i.e. it is not one faceless mass of thousands of people... it is really thousands of individuals that need to be catered to individually. [...] Overall, it was a great session and I felt that it covered on-ground challenges very well within its structure.

Hamza Muddassir: Vice President Strategy at Jagex

Thank you for coming to Graphisoft to give us the lecture last week. About the seminar you gave us, it was very clearly outlined, combined with descriptive illustrations and little exercises in between to keep us focused… For my case, every point that I could relate myself to – I learned though experiences of my life.
